Hi you wonderful people who take the time to read my blog! This is a post where I’m looking for your active input. I’m looking for a job where I can use my skill set of content creation, collaboration, and leadership to help a thoughtful business succeed. So far I’ve been researching and producing content for Better Ideas Now for nearly 7 months. I’m also the founder/content creator/web admin for Swap Positive (for nearly 26 months). Better Ideas Now is an education and thought leader blog. Swap Positive is an economic empowerment and PLAY blog for people to give and get stuff free locally.
I’ve had the joy of doing voice work in our home studio and volunteering in the community while raising my kids these past 20 years, with a little dabbling in modeling and a solid background in broadcasting. But now that my youngest is nearly out of high school, I’m seeking to get back into the work force in creative leadership ways. I still love voice work, but with kids in and nearing college I’m looking for a chance to interact/socialize/work with like-minded co-collaborators (voice work is a fairly lonely job where you talk to yourself in a booth). Hosting monthly swaps is fun, but it’s not the same as the day-to-day collaboration with like-minded people.
I’m looking for a well paying job that utilizes my positive content creation and leadership abilities. I would like to apply my abilities to take an idea, create infrastructure, and provide leadership to turn the idea into a reality by working with the skills and insights of other professionals and/or volunteers.
